Due to the large number of queries from authors looking to be stocked in the bookshop, please note we can’t accept in-shop submissions and kindly ask instead that authors email us using the form below. Please note at this time we are only considering titles that are about the local area. We are not taking submissions for novels, poetry or children’s books for the foreseeable future.
When submitting, please follow these guidelines:
- Please provide title, genre and a brief description of the work below. Please note that if we are able to support you, you will be asked to provide an image of the book cover before we are able to commit. Where relevant (e.g. photography books), we will also ask for example inside spreads.
- Please allow a response time of up to six weeks before emailing us to follow up.
- Due to the large number of queries, we are not able to provide in-depth feedback for every submission.
We’ll consider all submissions for inclusion in the shop but will prioritise local authors as our space is limited.
Please note we take pride in the curation of our stock and give great importance to print quality and presentation and that these are decisive elements when reviewing potential stock.
If we feel your book and the shop are a match we will take one copy on a three month sale or return basis.
