VASHTI HARDY – CHILDREN’S AUTHOR – YEAR ONE EVENT!

Join award winning children’s author Vashti Hardy to chat about her stories including her latest book, North and the Only One, and to create your own fantasy world map. During their map making, children will  plot their own quest and use their own interests to spark world-building and come away enthused to write their own fabulous adventures!

Vashti has written breathtaking fantasies including Wildspark which won the Blue Peter Book Award ‘Best Story’ in 2020 and the FCBG Children’s Book Awards, bestseller Brightstorm which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and Books are My Bag Awards among others. Brightstorm was also selected for Independent Booksellers Book of the Season and both Brightstorm and Wildspark were selected as Primary School Book Club Reads.
