Read It! Children’s Book Club - Autumn 2023, second half term

Read It! Children’s Book Club is a weekly, term-time book club for Key Stage 2 children (from Years 4-6), in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex.
The club offers a fantastic opportunity for children who have a passion for books and reading to come together to share their love of books and engage in fun, book-related activities, guided by Mary, an enthusiastic and experienced primary school teacher.
For Autumn 2023, second half term we will be looking at Malamander by Thomas Taylor.
Suitable for readers aged 9+
Malamander will be the very first book to be shared at Read It! Children’s Book Club and what a fantastic choice it is! Prepare to transport yourself from Shoreham-by-Sea to the mysterious Eerie-on Sea in this incredible, best-selling story from Sussex-based author, Thomas Taylor.
When: Tuesdays 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Where:Â Chapter 34, 32-34 Brunswick Road, Shoreham-by Sea, West Sussex, BN43 5WB.
Cost:Â ÂŁ65 per 6 week half-termly block.

- Sessions will run in half-termly blocks of 6 weeks unless otherwise stated.
- Small group size – maximum 8 children.
- A copy of the focus book, which your child can keep, will be included in the price of each half-termly block.
- All resources provided and drinks and biscuits included.
- Payment for the stated number of sessions must be made in full, in advance by the deadline stated. Upon full payment, your child’s place will be confirmed.
