The Women’s Prize Social @Palate

Come together to talk all things Women’s Prize Shortlist.

This isn’t your normal book club, this is an opportunity to read as many or as few titles that have been chosen for the 2025 Women’s Prize for Fiction shortlist. Come along to Palate to talk about what you thought of the books and have a glass of wine or two. Your ticket gets you one of the books on the list, listed below, and one small glass of wine or a beer.

Once you have booked your ticket you will need to email kelly@chapter34.co.uk to confirm which title you would like. This is also an opportunity to order any of the other titles.

Your hosts for this glorious evening will be Kelly, owner of Chapter 34, Carmen, Kelly’s right hand woman and Verity, owner of Palate. Between the three of us we will have read the 6 books on the list so you’ll have at least one person to chat with even if you’ve read one title. The evening is very relaxed, we chat about the books, we try to convince (or otherwise) each other to read the books we've enjoyed, and we have a vote for our winner. We got it very wrong last year!

We have a feeling that this combination of books and wine might be a winner so book quickly to avoid disappointment.
